MLM permissions error and no luck when CHMODed

Hi I've done the install but the stats window says the URL is not valid when I check a sent email for stats.

I have re-installed several times with both text and SQL and also changed CHMOD to 777.775 etc etc. All to no avail.

Any help appreciated please. :
