MLM Installation

Me again,
Just a precision : when installing MLM :

is that possible to install it on an SQL database already running under wordpress for exemple ?
or is that necessary to create its own database ? (just for MLM)

You can do both but personally I believe it is better to create a new database, it will be 'cleaner' and when you perform database backups you can have MLM and Wordpress in separate backups.
