Missing Attachment

I've sent out a newsletter with a pdf attached using the "insert graphics" command. I emailed a test copy of the newsletter and the attachment was included, but I'm receiving responses that the attachment is missing. What gives? The newsletter was sent in plain text.

A PDF is not a picture nor a graphic. As a result if you drop it to the message field some email readers will show it there and others not. It will however be always available in the attachment panel of those mail applications.
