Someone just tried to sign in to your Google Account [email protected] from an app that doesn't meet modern security standards.

Visit this page https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps
and turn off the double security option. That should fix your problem.

It is turned off... and has been.

And now we've gone from bad to worse. I give up... BCC from Yahoo will have to do - at least the messages get there.

I have talked to dozens of users about that and it always works. Try to turn it on, wait a while and turn it off again. Else you will have to contact Google since this is a Gmail problem not a MaxBulk Mailer problem.
