MaxBulk Mailer and iWeb for personal Message

Hello

I was able to create a website in iWeb and transfer the content to Max Bulkmailer (as Webpage and UTF-8 code). It was simply drag and drop the URL into the message field.

What I'm trying to do is to insert tags for personalised look and feel. No rocket science, I just want to say:

Hello (Firstname) (Lastname)

When I previously did a newsletter from a HTML editor (KompoZer, I was able to go to the Sourcecode and insert the tags.

But now, only having the link to the webpage in the message field, I'm lost.

Are you able to get me out of here?

Many thanks in advance and greetings from Switzerland

You just have to add the tags to your HTML code. Just do it with iWeb. Tags are just pieces of text, in your case they are [Firstname] and [Surname].

Hi Stanbusk

Many thanks for your hint, but I was unfortunally unable to do so.

Within iWeb, I don't have html code to edit and insert text as a tag.

And I'm afraid that the tags then are visible for visitors of the page. I will avoid that a visitor can see:

Dear [firstname], [lastname]

This line of text is for the eyes of a receiver of the newsletter (which is the entire webpage).

mailer daemon and failure notices are caused by you sending messages to email adresses that do not exist, or doing something that is not allowed by your basic yahoo account. Are you sending a lot of messages to every single person in your address book? In the mailer daemon letters it says the error, and if it is an inexistant email adress, try deleting that and the errors might go away.bulk email lists experts rate the features and benefits of using email list management..
