mac vs pc - pc better deliverablity to hotmail?

i admit i have old versions, but am perplexed by something.

i have mac os x ver. 4.4.4 and win os ver. 4.3.1 (run thru xp on parallels). both are set to the exact same settings, exact same HTML and email content, but my tests with win os ver. 4.3.1 get delivered to hotmail inbox and the ones sent via mac os x ver 4.4.4 hit the spam folder.

i know somebody will probably say upgrade to the latest version to fix, but until i understand what is going on, it makes no sense to upgrade in hopes it will fix my mac problem.

obviously i would prefer to use a mac version.

As you said you have to upgrade. Your version is almost 3 years old. We enhance and adapt the software on a monthly basis. If a server like Hotmail installs a new spam filter that can affect MaxBulk Mailer in some way (quite rare) we automatically make changes and issue an update. For best results you should always use the very last version. I guess you would never use a 3 years old anti-virus on your PC, right?
