interest paid

On a savings acc that pays monthly interest. I create:
Name & Category - Interest (received)
Type - Income
Now, when it comes to the transaction, what should be the Origin acc?
If I enter the same for Origin & Target, it doesn't work.
Yet, it's the account itself that generates the interest.
I'm stuck on this one.
Can someone help?
 
The origin account is 'Interest (received)' and the target account is the bank account or the fund receiving the interests.
 
Thank you for sharing useful information.Can anyone tell why the interest rate keeps on increasing.Can anyone share their opinion in it.
