Importing mbm extensions on mac

I'm inexperienced in using MaxBulk but I'm under the impression that I should be able open one of our .mbm extension files containing contacts and message settings. However, so far I've been unable to do this as maxbulk is a ghosted item in the 'open with...' window. My apologies if this violated posting requirements but I'd appreciate any insight. Thank you.

'.mbm' files are MaxBulk Mailer documents, same as 'xls' file as Excel documents. You always open a document by double-clicking on it or from the application with the 'File > Open' menu.
