I have some trouble importing transactions into iCash. I'm using v 5.5.
Here is what I have done.
Copied the text from bank account
Pasted it into Notepad
Add Tab between the fields
I choose to import the txt file in iCash
Check and move the fields I want to import in the Import window
Here is my problem:
From my text file I would like to import only Date, Type, Origin Account and Amount. And later in iCash I can choose Target Account, Payee and add Comments. But If I have a text file with only a few of these fields nothing is imported into iCash. It seems that I can’t import a transaction if the text file doesn’t include all the fields like Target Account, Payee, Comment etc.
Is it necessary to have all of the fields included in the text file?
