Import from remote database

Hi,
I bought Maxbulk Mailer recently and I have few problems when I work with MySql. When I try to import a list from my server I get the error "can't connect to MySql server on [host ip] (10600)". Please help!

Make sure your mySQL server is set to accept external connections.

It is set up correctly. I'm pretty sure about that because users of my web site can subscribe to the newsletter and the data gets updated correctly in the database.

By default mySQL databases are set to NOT accept external connections. If you never changed that setting I believe it is still set that way. What is working right now is everything using internal connections, I mean connections on the same network, your web server and your mySQL server are located on the same network. MaxBulk Mailer and your mySQL server are not on the same networks.
