How to print or copy duplicate email addresses

Hi,

I have a 6000 list and I have found 300 odd that are duplicates. It shows them to me in abox however there seems to be no way I can copy/paste or print them. I need them so I can go to the master list in another dbase and eliminate the total entry for that email.

How can I do this please ?

I have left the same message in Verifier as I can't do it there either.

Thanks you Stan.

I had the list from another db and pasted it into Max and it automatically took the dupes out of the list and only the non dupes landed in the recipient list.

The dupes were in put into a list in a popup panel telling me how many dupes were 'not' put into the recipient list and showing what they were.

I can hilite this list, but when I Ctrl-C then Ctrl-V to past it into another text file or a new recipimet list, nothing is there.

There is not an option to save it either.

It seems that the panel does not allow a cut and paste.

Maybe in a future update there should be an option to be able to save or copy the dupes.

Do you have any suggestion as I have 291 of them and too many to copy 1 by 1.

Actually you can use the 'File > Save As' menu to save the contents of that panel to a file.

Hi,

Tried to do that both with the Ctrl-Shft-S and the File drop down however nothing comes in and the panel itself doesn't allow any input at all.

Weird, I can save duplicates here without problems. This function was added last year because of a user request actually.

When you asked that question about the version, I tried again and still no go. I wonder what would be the problem.

I am deleting the dupes from my master list one by one otherwise I would close down and try again from the top but I can't close until I have finished.

Any ideas what could be the cause? I am using XP SP2.

Well, I finished the 1 by 1 entry of 297 and tried again.

It still does not 'save' or 'save as ' them from that Duplicate Error Panel.

I finally highlited them, opened a new Max and dragged them to a text file and no go but when I opened a new recipients list in Max, I was able to drag them there.

I then exported them as csv so I could use them in my master list in Excel and another program.

A long haul for a simple job.

Maybe it can be made a little easier in a futiure upgrade.

Anyway, I did it.

I have tried again today. I make the Error/Duplicate window to show up, then I select the 'File > Save As...' menu, I give a name and click 'Save'. I get a file with all the addresses from that window. It works as expected for me. At what point it doesn't work for you. Are you doing this differently?
