How can I include a link on confirmation page?

I'm wanting to be able to include a web page link on the confirmation page (or within the subscription confirmed email) when someone subscribes to our list. Haven't had much luck making that work since placing HTML in the text that is used from the lm_strings.php file isn't valid.

What we're doing is giving a free PDF download when someone signs up for this particular list. So when they confirm their list sign up, we want to be able to include the download link for the PDF.

I'd appreciate any help in accomplishing this. Everything else in the process seems to be working fine.

You just need to modify the 'lm/templates/en/msg_confirmation.txt' file. This is the file that is used to send the confirmation message.
