Hot Link in plain text email

Hi,
I'm trying to send a plain text email and want to have a hot link included.
I've done this BUT I'm being told that my link is not working. How do I do it? I'm using 5.8

I've Just typed the message in directly MaxBulk Mailer and included a link, www.tustinpix.com/kow

Should I do this using html? Is so, to make the html doc. do I create in MS Word, save as html and post to a folder on my site?

Is your message a plain text message? Anyway a link should start with 'http://'.

So in a plain text message, I need the "http://" before the rest of the url?

If I want to change the font, I have to send in html?

You can do it in HTML as well. Actually it is recommended to it that way.
