Feedback on the Linux version

Thanks for your work with the linux version! Had no problem installing it and it works rather fine. Just a few glitches which I thought I could share. (Maybe you already are aware of some of them). I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 and the swedish translation (I'm not a programmer myself, so I'm not too technical about things).

1. One minor odd thing is that I cannot use the comma key on the "number keyboard" (swedish keyboard) and instead I have to use the one on the alphabetical part of the keyboard

2. On the icash file viewer (or what the first instance of the program is called when you start it) the tool-menu is not working.

3. When writing a transaction the text cursor sometimes (rather seldom though) is stuck in a field, and it's not helping to use the tab key (it's just tabbing within the field) or trying to click in another field. After a while (10 seconds or so) it seems to work again.

4. The major problem I have with the linux version is the layout. As you can see on the saldo view and the transaction view the buttons in the lower corner is placed outside the window-view (regardless of the size of the window) and info about the balance and the date etc is also placed in an odd way. I have not had this problem with any other program.

I've briefly looked in the log-folder and nothing shows up there.

Anyway, thanks for your efforts. And please do continue with the linux version.

Your screenshots look awful. During testings here I have never seen that, all windows are perfect for me here. I just wonder what is screwing the windows that way on your computer... I saw some little problems but they were minor. Is it possible your screen resolutions is too low?

No, I dont think so. My resolution is 1440x900. I did also install the linux version on my netbook with almost the same ubuntu setup, and there I did not see theese flaws. So it is rather strange. I will let you know if i bump into an explanation.
