I use the export function to export transactions into a few different spreadsheets and reports. I've done this for several years. However, I just learned yesterday that the export is incomplete.
I run a query on our accounts, filtering by date and project, and get a list of 20 or so transactions. Then, I choose Export > Transactions. I tried exporting in both XL and text format, and in both cases the export skipped a couple of transactions.
I then found that oddly I can copy the transactions to the clipboard and paste them into a spreadsheet accurately. So the issue is in the export itself.
The big issue is that I have gone back to last year's accounts and notice that there are ones missing from my reporting there. I'm going to have to go through all of those statements line by line and see whats missing. Because iCash doesn't display line numbers or a count of displayed transactions, it's very difficult to compare the export to the query, so it's a time consuming process.
I don't see anything that would cause these transactions to get skipped. Any ideas?
