ESMTP - no connection

I am trying to use the email bounce handler but do not understand how it works. I tried to dredge from a maxbulk list and nothing imports. I also tried to just connect to my email account that I do my mailing but it tries to connect and fails.

My email authentication is ESMTP in maxbulk mailer but this is not an option in my bounce handler settings. How do I retrieve the bounced emails?

ESMTP is the extension of the SMTP protocol that gives authentication. SMTP is the protocol to send emails. eMail Bounce Hander doesn't send emails, he fetches emails so he uses protocols to fetch emails, POP or IMAP. You have to enter your POP or IMAP settings.

eMail Bounce Handler only processes bounces, not list of emails. I recommend you to read this page. It shows how to use eMail Bounce Handler the best way.
