"Error: need MAIL command" - can't send anything

I've been trying to send emails after setting up MBM and really have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I've read the directions! I upload my recipients from a .csv, have a blacklist I am successfully pulling from a remote database, have my server settings correct (it let me send about 20 mails yesterday before I got this message) - now, every time it tries to send a message, it looks like it's going to and then I get an error alert with this message up in the top corner. It'll try to run through all the recipients but keeps returning this error until I manually stop the job.

Any ideas? I'm so frustrated.

Is your SMTP setting correct? Shouldn't it start with smtp. I see you have it starting with "email-smtp..."

I just c&p'ed it from the server settings in Thunderbird, which is what I use for my email, and when it sent the 20 or so messages successfully, it was with the same settings.

trying delaying the "email-" part of that address and then do a test email.

Otherwise Stan may be able to help. Maybe provide your settings.
