Error: List not found

MBM 8.4.6
Mac OS 10.7.5
I've started getting the above error when testing the [unsubscribe] tag.
The text reads: We're sorry, but the list 'Remote Lists' can not be found on this server maxprog mail.
It was working OK, so clearly I've broken something, but I can't see what.
Despite the message, the email address is deleted from the list.
It happens in html and plain text messages
I am able to log into MLM via my browser.

Any ideas?

Ah! Found it. In the document prefs, 'List' had switched to 'None'
I've reset it to 'Automatic' and it's working fine.
