embedding vimeo video to email/facebook like button

Hello.

I'm trying to embed a vimeo video (iframe code) to an email and a like button from Facebook on the email.

When I copy and paste the html code, I don't see them on the email preview. If I chose to send a website on the other hand, I see both the video and the like button on the preview. However, when I received the email, both are gone...

Any way to fix this? Thanks!

That has nothing to do with MaxBulk Mailer, MaxBulk Mailer is just a bulk mailer, it sends your HTML code as is. Are you sure a mail reader is able to display such content?

Hello again. Does maxprog allow for the new html5 Facebook like button to be displayed? I'm not sure why if I put the code on the page it does not show up on the email on the email program (apple mail, gmail, etc.) Is there a trick to this to make it work?

Again that has nothing to do with MaxBulk Mailer, it is an issue between the HTML code and the email reader. The question is, is the email reader capable of displaying such content? For example, javascript code doesn't work on email readers. Is your code using Javascript?

Hello. Yes, my reader is able to see html, but I wasn't sure about javascript or iframes... when I put the file on bulkmailer, I see the correct file (same way it shows on the server) but when I see it via apple mail or gmail on the web, the Facebook like button and the vimeo video disappear.

I suppose I can put a picture of the vimeo video and have them click on it to open a web browser and watch the video online and a pic of the fb like button but I wanted it to be dynamic on their email...

The only video I have seen in Apple Mail are either mpg to quicktime. I guess Apple Mail only gives support to those formats, others are only for the web.
