Dragging HTML file into Message not working

Hello, on previous versions of Maxbulk (most recent used 8.3.5) on Windows I was able to drag an HTML file from Explorer into a blank message field in Maxbulk to import the HTML. I decided to finally update to the latest version of Maxbulk and am no longer able to drag the HTML in, I have to copy and paste it which is not as convenient for me. Is there any way to re-enable this functionality or is this a bug?

We did not changed anything actually, drag and drop is handled by the operating system. MaxBulk Mailer is set to accept anything. Is the page extension '.html'?

After you said that, I tried doing some tests to figure out what the issue might be, but the behavior is consistent on the latest version. I tried 3 distinct windows machines and all three are unable to just drag and drop an html file, htm file or txt file, all three of which I normally work with. I am able to copy and paste the code, but unable to just drag it in.

Sorry, I gave up those months ago and stuck with an older version, but I have a newer version of Maxbulk set up on a remote server that has been encrypting the server passwords upon saving the file, making them annoying to use those same files on our local machines.

To answer your last question, nothing is being added as an attachment at all (nor do I want any attachments). In version 8.3.5, I am able to drag an HTML file in Windows from my File Explorer into the message are of maxbulk, and have all the HTML pulled in. In the latest version, this does not work and I need to copy and paste the HTML from another program, which is less convenient.

Is there any way to go back to the functionality of 8.3.5 in the latest version?

I will have a look at this problem as soon as possible. Copying and pasting the HTML code has always been the recommended way but indeed dropping a '.html' or '.htm' document should insert the contents.
