Disappearing contacts

We have been suffering from contacts disappearing from the remote database. We used to store all data locally but then changed to the remote database as recommended. Now when we return to the remote database they some been cut to exactly 1000 entries and when viewed alphabetically it just cuts off - they are gone - we have lost 10,000 in 1 database alone. Have just had to explain to a client that 1500 emails and details collected over 3 years - GONE. HELP - this has happened a couple of different times.

The remote database is handled and maintained by your server administrator. If contact are disaperaring from there I believe you should contact them.

We do not know where on our server they are or what to look for - we have changed servers and must have has a 1000 line cut off so need to go back onto the old server and refind - but do not have a clue where???

Did you set MLM to save the data to a mySQL server? or not?
