Crashing on sleep or when external monitor unplugged

Using: latest version 8.5 on MacBook Pro on Yosemite 10.10.2

I've had an issue for some time with MaxBulk Mailer crashing if I sleep my machine, or if I unplug my external monitor (sometimes if screensaver kicks in too) - this started with Mavericks and a couple of versions ago, and I hoped that it would be fixed by updates but has persisted across Yosemite upgrade on my Air, then full clean install on my MBP (though I did copy across my settings).

Any ideas? Could this be caused by something corrupt in my settings (though I'd hate to have to reconstruct them all). Is anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks.

Thanks - that explains the sleep. A bit of a shame, since I often start a batch then leave the computer to it, but I understand why.

I'm still not v happy about it crashing when I unplug my external monitor though - it's the only app that does, and it didn't used to before Mavericks. It's slightly frustrating to need to remember to save things before performing particular operations - that's the kind of reason I stopped using Windoze!!

Overall, still loving and grateful for MaxBulk Mailer though - thanks! :)

Sleeping mode is similar to switching your computer off actually. It is nonsense launching a process and then turn the computer off :?

About your second problem, I don't know where it comes from, never heard of such issue, do you have a crash log? What does to say in the first 15 lines below 'Thread 0 crashed'? At least I could see where the crash happens.
