Common Text Selection Commands Do Not Work (OS X)

Hi there,

I've noticed for a while now that iCash doesn't support common text selection commands in the Transaction text fields (on (Mac) OS X).

For instance, doubleclicking to select a word fails in the Comment field (but works in the Origin Account). Also, SHIFT + LEFT/RIGHT ARROW on the keyboard does not select (highlight) by character (nor does OPTION/ALT + SHIFT + ARROW select by word).

Since I use these intensively elsewhere, I'm always a bit frustrated when that fails in iCash. Maybe you could have a look?

This is because those fields are constantly accessing the database for inserting text automatically. Try to deactivate that from the preferences. Selection may work the way you want but all the auto-completion facilities will no longer work. When finishing updating iCash to Cocoa we will try again to fix that but believe me, it is not easy.
