Clear Form on load

Hi all,

I've got a form at http://www.rugbyshow.co.uk and in the input boxes I have the following text in IE 6/7 - how can I auto clear the input fields on the form so this doesn't show?

\|$email\"";
\|$firstname\"";
\|$lastname\"";

Also, let me know what you think of the loading times in the poll.

I am not sure to understand, where do you see that text? They look like PHP variables.

They appear in the input fields of the form, in Opera and IE 6 and 7.

Is the page containing the code ending with '.php'?
