Cash account

I do not understand why an account named "Cash" should be of a "Bank" type and not have its own type "Cash".

A 'Cash' account can be of any type as long as they is no 'Cash' account already. If so either delete it or change its type.

Hi, I still do not understand why it is not possible to have a "Cash" account type for cash transactions. When you create a new, e.g., "Cash-Wife" account one can only choose among types like "Bank", "Income", "Expenses"...
Thanks,
RF

All cash accounts are of type 'Bank' (or 'Assets') actually. Just create your Cash accounts as type 'Bank' (or 'Assets') or create a 'Cash' category of type 'Bank' (or 'Assets') and create your 'Cash' account inside.

Thanks Stan, I think it can work the way you describe.

On a separate note, I was about to purchase iCash when PayPal added VAT to the advertised price. There is no mention about VAT to be added in the MaxProg store (unless it is hidden somewhere).

Is it a mistyke by PayPal or a bad practice?

Our company is located in Europe so we have to add VAT to all the European sales. This is done by our store, not by PayPal actually. I would really like to do it better but Paypal is not really flexible on this aspect. If you have a VAT number you can enter it and get exempted.
