Cant email Think it's a port issue

I've been given port 587 by my ISP for use of bulk emails. I have set the port settings as this forum has said to do:

mysmtp.com:587 and it does not work.

I have the same settings for my regular email program (I use mac mail) and it works fine. This does not. Any help would be appreciated.

(connections is set to 1 and I've tried all the secure options. no go.

Is ti possible you have activated SSL by error or your server expects SSL and it is not activated?

Hi Stanbusk. Thanks for you response. No I don't think that's it. I've tried all the SSL variations. And I did get it working on the other program I have which is Intellimerge (UGH!)

If it works on one program it should work on the other. There is no reson other than a typo in the settings. I recommend you to recreate the account and enter everything again.
