I bought MBM Pro (if that abbreviation is allowed) for my OSX4.11 system. I'll ask a few early on the learning curve questions, but will be fine if the answer is, look at the manual, Chuck.
1. When I paste styled text from Entourage into the message window, the app crashes. Then when I saw that it's set for the default Plain Text and change it to Styled Text, the crashes stop occurring. But good things don't accompany the lack of bad. The text doesn't preview at all well. My working hypothesis is, don't paste styled text from Entourage into MBM Pro.
2. So I took that same paragraph into PageSpinner and chose a font, gave it colors, bold, etc. Looked OK in the message window but didn't preview well. So I stripped out all the PageSpinner stuff and used Pro's text tools to style the text. That worked. Did I miss a way to get styled HTML text into MaxBulk Mailer Pro?
Lastly, I used Pro to send that styled text to a client. As a test, he sent it back to me using two methods. One: he Cut & Pasted the paragraph into a new message and sent it. Two: he Forwarded the graf back to me.
I had been told that Cut & Paste was the better method, because (I"m reaching here) it keeps the headers and other behind the scenes stuff cleaner. But there were 3 blemishes in the C&P version. The Forward looked fine. Is Forward perhaps a better choice?
