Background Image gone when receiver forwards

I have done an html message with a background image, all looks great. But if one Forwards (or Replies) it looks right except for one thing, the background image is gone. Tried supplying the image from the server (absolute) and enclosed (relative). Observing this in Mail on OS X, is there any fix to allow the background to remain, or is that a "feature" of mail clients? Some text is set in white so it does not show up if someone wants to send it on to a friend. I'd hate to have to mess with the look so it works better on Forwarding.

Oops, I meant to put this in MaxBulk Mailer, obviously.

This is a problem with the mail reader I guess, most of them use to destroy the HTML message. In Mac OS Mail however there is function called 'Redirect' that maintains the message as is.

Just tried "Redirect" from menu. Same thing, no background image. I have looked at the source code and it's still there : (

I will have to see if it's okay in other mail programs (Windows)
