Applescript capabilities limited

I have integrated MBM with my database and use Applescript to communicate between them. Though I can use Applescript to send emails and use lists, there are some functions I cannot do. Specifically, I can't determine whether an MBM email has finished sending satisfactorily so I can close the window automatically, rather than having dozens of email windows open at the end of the day.

If the MBM Applescript dictionary contained terms such as Document or Window, I could determine important information like the name of the email or its current sending status or how many emails have been successfully sent, etc. Does anyone know if there are any plans to include this info in future versions? The marketing info said MBM has full Applescript support, which is one of the reasons I bought it. If not, does anyone know of any work-arounds, so I can close windows that are complete yet leave open windows that are still working?

Not sure I understand what you need. You want to close a window when the delivery is done. What window, the MaxBulk Mailer document window?

Correct. I want to close the window containing the email that just finished sending. Since Applescript can't determine the current status of the document, I can't safely CloseDocument because some emails may not yet be sent.

I understand. Another way would be some kind of advanced preference to save and close a window when a delivery is done, don't you think?

Yes, that's ingenious. Might be better than even having an applescript checking regularly in the background. Though I would say one preference to save the window and another one to close the window, since I send lots of emails that I don't need to save on the disk.

And I'd still like to have the ability to have applescript obtain info about the windows. It's a cool fature...
