ALL IS RED LISTED, WHY ? AS WELL THE GOOD ADRESSES!

Good morning,

Today I just bought email Verifier and am using the Windows version, importing my SENT FOLDER. (thunderbird), I find more 2.000 addresses.
OK !

But when I verify this folder, "all" is RED.
Also when I proceed a first test with my INBOX folder only the yahoo, hotmail, was GREEN LISTED etc ????
Also, I stopped the verification when I saw my second office mail RED LISTED <bad>, AS WELL LOT OF OF MY DAILY CONTACTS, ????

There must be an explanation...

I read the help file and more without success....

Note: x means <selected option>

Configuration: preference; x check for update at launch ; bandwith 100 % ; connection threads 10 retires 3 time out 15;DNS server x use default server.
Configuration: Advanced: mx server lookup ; x NSL lookup [recommended] , on lookup failure..x bad ; verification method ; x simulate a message ...[recommended], sender E-mail "myactualemail"@otenet.gr;
X try to identify valid email using the VRFY command ; group 10; x sent reset command
Log x output connecting log to a file.
Rules ; factory settings

I don't understand, and it will be great to have some details like 3 or 4 screen captures !!!
I have a maxi problem to progress with this great tool.

About my Antivirus etc..
My F-secure (provided by my Telecom operator) is off
and my Bullguard is off

Yes with telnet, and the port 25 is blocked or something like this!

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to change this. The port #25 is the standard for sending messages and the one eMail Verifier uses. The only solution is switching to another ISP.

In fact as user It's not my problem to know if the port 25 is open or closed and It's not indicate in the leaflet!

In fact I was really excited about the idea of using this tool, but now I Don't Know What to do and what to Say.

I have done a control with a soft port scanner !
I don't now it's is useful but I try to understand the problem!
It's not my job, but I need to use the Soft solutions offer by Maxprog!

It's important for me to increase my business work!

I need gain of time!

And the port 25 is mentioned as open?

Port 21, 22, 23, closed
port 25 open smtp simple mail transfer
port 53, 80 closed
POrt 110 open POP 3
135,137,138,139, 443, 445, 1080, 1433,, 3128, 3306, 8080 CLOSED

Also, regarding the IP address used by the scanner, I don't know at what it coresponds?

Local, my computer, my adsl modem, ..etc

If we can progress slowly but surely I m sure we ll find a solution!

Port25's authentication verifier

Good morning,

Beside of telnet - CMD etc,,,,,),
ping mailgate.OTENET.gr = 62.103.147.202


And verification of my OUTGOING SERVER SMTP parameter is mail.otenet.gr
AND THE PORT IS 25 (open)


In order to verify some parameters of my Port 25, I used the following solution provided by verifier.port25.com

Note, I just changed only my id mail, [email protected]

Note just for info I use an anti spam ware SPAM EXPERTS
(www.spamexperts.com)
And during my test is Off!

I try to do my best but at this time I 'm not computer specialist.
I search to use this soft Email verifier as indicated in the leaflet!


Also from an other source, looking for the DNS SERVER, I found this detail regarding our ADSL provider in Greece! (OTENET)

The following addresses had permanent fatal errors ----- <[email protected]>
550-Message rejected because kane.otenet.gr [83.235.67.31] is blacklisted at <<< 550-dnsbl-1.uceprotect.net see IP 83.235.67.31 is UCEPROTECT-Level

I don't know it's useful but ?

I get a successful 220 response

Morning it's me again!

Just for info!
From my second laptop, When I test for the port 25, I have the following reply!

command: >>>
telnet://mailgate.otenet.gr:25

220 kane.otenet.gr ESMTP Sendmail 8.13.8; Wed, 25 Mar 2009 15:33:32 +0200

You can note that my second computer is connected with the same ADSL wireless modem!

Also when I try to do the same test from my first laptop (where is installed the e-mail verifier software)>>>

I can read connecting with mailgate.otenet.gr
and ---the cursor flash on and off.
In fact no reply!

IT'S WORKING FROM MY SECOND COMPUTER!!!!

It's me again!

I am happy because the soft works properly with my second laptop!

I used the same Key codes etc, brief!!!

No I transfer and copy my inbox & outbox folder in order to verify and exploit all my addresses!

Weird then. It looks like something with the system, very likely with the DNS lookup.
