I am constantly getting the following error message:

[MLM] mySQL Connect Error in RemoveExpiredRequestsFromDB()

Can someone tell what this means?

I don't believe so...
When I tried to create a list thru a browser using the LM command, I also get an error:-
ERROR - Server problem when reading list [:]

That means there is a connection problem to the mySQL database. It can be because of a wrong address, wrong port, wrong account ID or wrong password. About the account, it has to be a full access account.

I have confirm the $dbhost with portnum.
Do I have to include the 'http:// in the settings file?
Like 'http://www.domain.com:80'

In any case I have deleted & rebuilt the MySql DB and I am still getting the attached error message.

The error message says "Last name" however the recipients file does not allow for Last name, only Surname...
would this make a difference?

Since the mySQL address is not a web address, it should never include 'http://'. About your second question, it doesn't matter. What matters is the position of the data. The email address has to be available in the fourth column.
