How to configure office 365 of microsoft

Question: I have used ESMTP for MBM & entered office 365 account details. But now it is using some default port instead of office 365 needs a port 587. How to setup ? Also I am very new to MBM. Can you please help me with all informations I need to send my newsletters.

Answer: About office 365 server SMTP settings try the following steps:

1.– Create a shared mailbox in your Office 365 portal and assign a password.
2.– In MaxBulk Mailer assign smtp.office365.com as your SMTP server, port 587 with TLSv1 security.
3.– Use the shared mailbox email and password you just created on Office365.

- The SSL pull-down menu is located next to the authentication scheme. TLSv1 is one of the choices.
- Only MaxBulk Mailer Pro is able to connect thru SSL.
