Won't stop ! ?

I hit the stop button and it just kept sending.

I was about a 1/3 done sending out an email broadcast to about 3,500 and I hit "stop" the button turned shaded and then barber pole thing started swirling under the prefs box in the right hand corner, but then it just kept sending the emails ! I cant get it to stop. I am using 7.5 for mac.

Do you mean you cancelled the process when the software was not sending? I mean, between two batches?

I just hit "stop" while it was sending out a campaign. But it didnt stop sending, it just kept going. I finally had to force quit the app so it would stop sending emails.

However in your log:

It looks like you click on stop between two batches.

I have my interval set to send 4 emails every 26 seconds.

So it was just between sends where it says "next delivery."

I hit cancel and it didnt stop it, then the next batch was triggered to send out and so it sent out another 4 emails and kept going.
The "stop" button is now shaded out and I cant click on it anymore to try to stop it again, (not that the stop button works)
But I have no other choice than to quit the program to get it to stop sending.

I am having the problem described above. I can't stop sending. I used to be able to. Now I have to force quit the program in order to stop the mailing.

I'm using a Mac.

In the last few version I have suffered from the same problem of the "Stop" function not working. This is still the case in v7.6. The only way of I have found around this is to close the document but for some reason MBM has trouble re-opening it. This needs to be fixed.

have you tried to clean your operating system? It is explained here. Not being able to reopen a file is a file system failure.
