You can upgrade from MLM v2 to v3 just installing new v3 from MaxBulk Mailer using the 'MaxBulk Mailer > Install MLM...' on the Mac or 'Help > Install MLM...' on Windows. That will replace v2 files with v3 files keeping your data and lists.
In case of problems or errors with the MaxBulk Mailer installer you can of course upgrade from MLM v2 to MLM v3 manually. You just need to download the new MLM v3 package here: here and do the following with your favorite FTP software:
- Upload to the 'templates' folder:

'cz' folder
- Upload to the 'lm' folder:
lm_functions.php
lm_admin.php
lm_prefs.php
lm_strings.php
lm.php
- Upload the 'pictures' folder.
