unsubscribe not removing email from list

I have all of my lists on our server in the mlm. I made a web page with [Unsubscribe] in it. The link showed up, and a success message came up.

Your subscription has been cancelled
You have asked to cancel your subscription from all lists.

The email address [email protected] has been successfully deleted.

But when I log into mlm, it's still in the lists.

What gives?

Are you using mySQL? What MLM version?

Crap- I can't remember. I seem to recall that we had some problems when installing it, so tried multiple ways. how would I find these things out?

I think the version is 8.2 or something.

You can know the MLM version looking at the lm.php file on your server
You can know about mySQL info looking at the lm_settings.php file on your server.

I am using MySql5

It is recommended to use it.

First download it here. Then with your FTP software, upload the .php files except the lm_setting.php file since it contains your settings. If you did edit lm_prefs.php do not upload it either, if you did not, upload since it contains you settings. In a near future MaxBulk Mailer will allow you to update MLM.

Do you select a list before sending your message? Are you using the [Unsubscribe] tag in your message?

I use the 'import list from remote server' to get the list. And I use the [unsubscribe] tag. I've been trying to use it on my self in a test list. I click on the unsubscribe in the email, and it takes me to a page that says I've successfully unsubscribed.

Then I get an email that says

Hello,

Per your request the email address [email protected] has been successfully deleted from the list(s) .

If you wish to subscribe again in the future, please click on the following link (or copy and paste it to your browser):

But when I go to the lists, My name is still there.

I read above you use MLM. So why do you use the 'import list from remote server' function?

Well, that is how I understand that I'm supposed to use it. I import the list from MLM.

But that doesn't address my problem. When I try to unsubscribe, it doesn't work. It says it does, but doesn't.
