I have just accidentally deleted a local list. Can I retrieve it somehow from somewhere? I run MaxBulk mailer (latest version) on a Mac OS X (El Capitan)

undelete a local list

Yes, deleted lists are moved to ~/Library/Application Support/Maxprog/MaxBulk Mailer/Trash
You can use the Finder Go ▸ Go to Folder... menu and paste the path above. Then just move the deleted lists back to the 'List' folder you will also find there. Then launch MaxBulk Mailer. You should see your list.
