Recipient receives blank email

This solution could be good for html although I doubt all cases are solved with this. In addition: styled text regularly gives the same blanks.
Any more ideas?

Styled Text should never give that problem, not with current v8. I will ask the same questions, Who is receiving your message blank? Anything in common with those recipients? Same email reader, or same webmail service?

I just sent the same e-mail SIX times using MaxBulk to TWO different e-mailaddresses (one checked with Mozilla Thunderbird: domain @sslleiden.nl and one a gmail address checked at Gmail using Chrome).

Notes:
 • The MaxBulk file contains only Styled text.
 • I wanted to add the file to this post, but the extension .mbm is not allowed.
 • All this time, the file was located on my desktop and my computer was free of other activities.
 • MaxBulk version 7.9.2 was used in this test.
 • In all SIX cases, the result was identical in Thunderbird and Gmail.
 • Every time, the recipient list, containing only those two recipients, was reset before opening the preview or sending.
 • This phenomenon has never occurred in Plain text mode, but often in Styled text mode as well as in html mode.

Result of the tests:
 • First e-mail: the preview in MaxBulk was empty --> the e-mail was empty.
 • Second e-mail: the preview in MaxBulk was correct --> the e-mail was empty.
I closed the file and MaxBulk and reopened the file.
 • Third e-mail: the preview in MaxBulk was correct --> the e-mail was correct.
I changed the subject, saved, closed, opened again.
 • Fourth e-mail: the preview in MaxBulk was empty --> the e-mail was empty.
I closed and reopened.
 • Fifth e-mail: I explicitely didn't check the preview and sent --> the e-mail was correct.
I closed and reopened.
 • Sixth e-mail: I explicitely didn't check the preview and sent --> the e-mail was empty.

So what you have is a random problem, right? Have you tried to check your system with Onyx? In case you don't know it, it is a tool that can help you fix problems on your system. You can download it here. Go to the 'Automation' panel, select all the options and click on the 'Execute' button. Then restart your computer and check if your problem has been fixed.

If your problem has not been fixed you will have to run the tasks manually. Note that you will be asked to reboot after each task. There is no need to do that, just reboot once you have run all the tasks.

Maintenance panel
- Run the permissions reparation from the first sub-panel by clicking on 'Execute'.
- Select the 'Daily', 'Weekly' and 'Monthly' scripts from the 'Scripts' sub-panel and click on the 'Execute' button.
- Select 'LaunchServices' and 'dyld's from the 'Rebuild' sub-panel and click on the 'Execute' button. (You can also select to rebuild the Spotlight Index).

Cleaning panel
- Check everything from the 'System' sub-panel and click on the 'Execute' button.
- Check everything from the 'User' sub-panel and click on the 'Execute' button.
- Check 'Browser Cache' and 'Download Cache' from the 'Internet' sub-panel and click on the 'Execute' button.
- Check 'System and Users' from the 'Fonts' sub-panel and click on the 'Execute' button.
- Check everything from the 'Logs' sub-panel *BUT* 'Conversations log of instant messaging' and click on the 'Execute' button.
- Check 'Recent Items', 'Obsolete items' and 'Previous 'iTunes Libraries' from the 'Misc' sub-panel and click on the 'Execute' button.

I hope it will fix your problem.

Just to check: I have 7 newly installed Windows 7 pc's on two different locations (different networks) and they ALL give this problem. Is it likely that in this case problems on my system are causing the trouble and that your suggestion could work.
If you think so, I will follow your advice: please confirm!

Have you tried to deactivate your anti-virus when sending your messages? or at least the part that checks outgoing messages? Are you using standard fonts in your message?

Disabling antivirus doesn't help a thing. Using wireshark I verified that Maxbulk Mailer really doesn't send anything except for the headers and everything but the contents of the e-mail. It really seems like a bug (because of the random nature perhaps a race condition?) in the program code that causes your parser to return empty text? It happens in Maxbulk Mailer 8.3.3 as well, by the way.

What parser and what renderer do you use? Are they external components (which may be updated or debugged) or are they built into Maxbulk Mailer? Are there logs that may point to errors encountered during parsing and sending other than the logs shown in the program itself? Does maxbulk mailer report to Windows Error Reporting?

One I wrote myself, it takes the text and the styles and convert it into HTML code. You can see the result of the parsing from the Preview panel, clicking on the 'eye' icon and selecting the 'View Source' menu. What you see there is exactly what MaxBulk Mailer will send.
Are they external components (which may be updated or debugged) or are they built into Maxbulk Mailer?
No, everything is built into MaxBulk Mailer.
Are there logs that may point to errors encountered during parsing and sending other than the logs shown in the program itself?
No. The parser is very simple, it is a text parser.
Does maxbulk mailer report to Windows Error Reporting?
Only when we debug the software here. MaxBulk Mailer has an error log, it is located at C:\Users\<your_account_name>\Documents\Maxprog\MaxBulk Mailer\Error Logs\

Hi.
I have the same problem with sending blank messages ( in preview). The program sends out blank messages all the time.
It seems like its radom. Hope that adm can check it for next version. Sometimes when saving the document it helps. It has nothing to do with outgoing firewall/virusprogram for mail. Sometimes it even helps when you add/delete something in the message. It always happens in styled text mode. This problem happens very often. I usually close the program and reopen. Then it normally fixes itself but it is a bit anoying. My clients have several times made complains for this problem. Hope someone will reply to this string. ( I use WIN7)
