Quick Start on a dime?

I have comcast at home and cannot get eMail Verifier to work. I believe it's a residential/port 25 problem. I did find one work around with a friend's remote internet access but that's not convenient or regularly accessible to me. I think I have to get access to an SMTP server. Whether that or something else, what is the quickest, easiest, cheapest way to get this up and running?
Later, I plan to use gmail or zoho at mail host for controlled release email messages, but I don't think I want to complicate or jeopardize those set-ups with the massive quantities of emails I want to verify.

Actually eMail Verifier needs full access port 25, it is the port used for accessing email relay servers.
