Not importing all addresses from a list

When I try to import a list containing 999 lines of one email address each, Email Verifier only shows 994 email address. This means it's dropping 5 of the emails immediately on the import, before I have even started the verification pass. Why is it doing this and which addresses is it dropping?

Do you have any duplicate or badly formatted addresses? They are the only one eMail Verifier will not import.
