Hey,
I'm configuring MBM 6.6 - I'm just using it for the first time. Everything was smooth up until the send (I'm using a test recipient list comprised of 2 of my own email addresses). I've tried a few different configurations regarding the smtp and pop settings - the mail server is comast and I have outlook installed (is there an interaction issue I should know about?). Anyway - here's the delivery report:
[01] 10/3 14:18:52 ~ Status: Opening connection for delivery...
[01] 10/3 14:18:52 --> Connecting socket [1] with 2 entries to smtp.comcast.net:587 Port:587
[00] 10/3 14:18:52 +OK POP3 ready
[00] 10/3 14:18:52 > USER whizzboom
[00] 10/3 14:18:52 +OK
[00] 10/3 14:18:52 > PASS *************
[00] 10/3 14:18:52 +OK server ready
[00] 10/3 14:18:52 > QUIT
[00] 10/3 14:18:52 +OK sz0124.wc.mail.comcast.net closing connection
[01] 10/3 14:20:52 *** SMTP TIME-OUT 1 - 120 s
[01] 10/3 14:20:52 --> Reconnecting attempt 1 of 5
[01] 10/3 14:22:52 *** SMTP TIME-OUT 2 - 120 s
[01] 10/3 14:22:52 --> Reconnecting attempt 2 of 5
Any suggestions? I feel as if this is probably some little thing I've neglected to set properly, but I'm not finding it on my own. I've tried specifying both smtp and pop ports (they're specified in outlook)... not sure what the magic combination is.
Any help is appreciated,
Cheers,
Chris
