MBM crashes trying to view statistics.

MBM 8.7.3 Mac OS 10.15.7 Macbook Pro 2018

If I click on statistic, the window opens as normal and I see my list of previous sent email. I would then click and check the box on sent email that would normally bring up the window of people that receive emails, bounces, etc. This was all working fine when I did my last email blast in August, so I'm not really certain if it is something that got updated with Mac OS or something else.

Now when I do that, that program just crashes. I'm unable to view any statistics.

Any ideas? Let me know if you need any more info.

Thanks.

Have you tried to reboot your computer? This type of issue uses to go away when rebooting the whole system. As far as I know, MaxBulk Mailer doesn't do much when you open the statistic window, it actually loads the delivery file. If it still crashes after rebooting please let me know so we can have a look at that file. The crash report can shed some light but actually, I only need to see the first 20 lines or so where it says thread X has crashed. Not the whole crash log.

Now I'm getting this when I click on one of the completed sends in the statistics window:

Look at the ˜/Library/Application Support/Maxprog/MaxBulk Mailer/Error Logs
Do you have one with today's date? If so, what's inside?

If I go to Preferences-General- Remote Lists and Stats, my url is the same. However, if I click on either web interface, diagnose, or get info, I get "403 Forbidden openresty/1.13.6.2

Thanks

About your other message with a screenshot, yes, MaxBulk Mailer doesn't support HTTP, only HTTPS.

There are 8 error logs in that folder. One is from just a few minutes ago. All look to be the same (as far as I can tell). Here is the most current one:

Thanks Stan. I think we are getting close. I just recently added SSL to my hosting package for my web site. I'm thinking that change messed something up and I need to redo something. I'm wondering if i simply change the http tp https in the preference-General-Remote list and stats MLM address if that would fix this? I'll give that a try.

Yes, that looks like it is the problem. In MaxBulk Mailer you have to use HTTPS URLs everywhere since HTTP was deprecated some time ago... Using HTTP causes lots of security problems.

Still no love. Rebooted computer. The good news is MBM isn't crashing. Just get this now:

When did you switch to HTTPS? That can create random errors of this kind for up to 48 hours until the change has been fully populated...

Hi Stan.

I think I have to contact my web hosting place. I can't even access my web site now. I get the forbidden 403 thing. I'll get back to you as soon as I see what they say. Thank you.

OK. Now it is working fine. Weird. The only thing I changed was the http-https in the MLM url. I'm sure that did it, but I can't figure out what the hell was going on with my server service. Computers....maybe something on their end was updating at the same time I was messing around with this????

Thanks for your help
