MaxBulker mailer and Lion Server

I have setup a MacMini Lion server for a customer. He had been using the built in postfix on his iMac but it suddenly stopped working. MBM would report it can't find the smtp server. So I enable the mail service on the MacMini to use it's SMTP service. During testing we have discovered that for some reason the first email address on the recipient list is dropped. I've made sure to turn off anything in the Mail service that would cause the service to reject any messages. Also the service is setup for only this function. There is no other email activity, including receiving emails. TIA

This is probably because of an authentication problem. Look at the beginning of the connection log in the Delivery panel. You should see some kind of authentication issue.
