Major Bug with unsubscribe link

i spend many ours to find out what happened with my email theme, now i found a strange behaviour in bulk mail.
i have made a html theme and it works very well - also when i send it with bulk mail. but when i add the [unsubscribe] link anywhere in the theme then i receive a blank email. a look inside this email tell me this:

this is strange because is use "UTF 8" and "text/html" format in my settings and my theme.
i tested also a blank e-mail with pure text and noting else inside as the [unsubscribe] link - the same result...
also i have seen, that in the emails mostly is written "MaxBulk Mailer" instead of my Name - which is definitely right in the settings. with this bugs i can't definitely use it as i need it for my client communication.

I use version Bulk Mail 8.5.1 with Mac on 10.10.5 Yosemite

for the moment i use a cmd-link like "<a href="~/_newsletter/scripts/lm/lm.php?cmd=unsubscribe&list=Mitarbeiter&email=[E-Mail Adresse]" >Abmelden</a>" until the [unsubscribe] will work (in german [Abmelden]).

in which format i can send you my document, a txt or html file was not allowed as attachment.

Yes i did, and the problem, when i use your example is, the the e-mail i receive is still blank...

the other problem is still existing, as "from" there will always shown "MaxBulk Mailer" not the the right Name that i have set in the settings...

In the preferences, what is the text you have set for the [Abmelden] tag? Also, when you preview your message and you use the [Abmelden] tag, do you see the message? Have you looked at the blank message sources, your code is there or missing?

From should contain your name, are you telling me it is replaced? Can you send me the raw headers as they are received?

i'm not sure what you mean with raw headers... here is the source code of the email that i receive.
as you see the e-mail is blank, because is one of the errors with the [Abmelden] link inside - i wrote another post for MLM.
The screenshot shows the wrong "from" field.

Amazing!... I have exactly 2 customers with this problem including you and I don't see what you have in common. :? Could you look at the '~/Library/Application Support/Maxprog/MaxBulk Mailer/Error Logs' files? Do you have a file with the same date as your delivery date? If so what do you have in that file?

no there are no crash log files within the date...
it's truly amazing because i tested many many settings and it's not possible to reproduce this error...

I have inspected the code related to the unsubscribe tag several times so far but I don't see anything wrong. Actually that code works for everybody else... so I believe it is a given setting.

Note that the files one the '~/Library/Application Support/Maxprog/MaxBulk Mailer/Error Logs' folder are not crash logs. They are plain text files where MaxBulk Mailer output exceptions. An exception is when something unexpected happens in the application. An exception can potentially and silently jump over chunks of code. Are you sure you don't have any file there?

I have never been able to reproduce this problem and it affects only 2 o 3 users so far. Have you checked if your MLM URL in MaxBulk Mailer preferences is correct?

Thanks Stan -

I checked the Remote Lists setting - if I click "GO" next to it I get to the correct page.

accessing remote lists from max Bulk mailer works fine, too.

HOWEVER - the deliveries are not logged on the MLM - and when Iook at the deliveries within Maxbulkmailer, the openings are logged, but also clicks are logged that I did not do (how could I have, as the mail was delivered without content)

Any suggestion how to get all of this running again as quickly as possible ?

I re-installed the Maxprog Bulkmailer Programm (Mac) and I set up a new SQL Database and set up a new MLM - The setup worked fine, as expected through Maxbulkmailer.

If I mail without click-through tracking : it workes fine

If I activate click through tracking :
1. Links no longer work
2. if the message contains the unsubscribe tag, the message is sent out blank.

PLEASE ADVISE if there are any ways to remedy this.

You say links doesn't work? What do you mean? What links are they? What error do you get?

By "Links" I meant the links in the html mail (linking to app store, home page, etc..)
If I use click-trhough tracking with Maxbulkmailer 8.5.1 on a mac desktop those links do not work when I open a test mail and try to click them. no error message, but no browser window opening when I click, either.

In the meantime, I made a test with an older version of Maxbulkmailer installed on my laptop (same MacOS System, 10.10.5) but with Maxbulkmailer 8.4.9 installed. I was able to mail the same html mail out sucsessfully. The links in the mail worked when mailed with Maxbulkmailer 8.4.9.

Also the "Deliveries" tab when logging in through the web to MLM worked (=displayed results, clicks, etc..( when used with Maxbulkmailer 8.4.9, and did NOT work when the same mail was sent with Maxbulkmailer 8.5.1. (=did not even show the mails were sent)

do you have suggestion to get Maxbulkmailer 8.5.1. to work ?

<p>Bovendien is Lexico Vraagbegrip multifunctioneel. Schakel het geluid uit en er kan specifiek op het leesbegrip geoefend worden. Zo kan de app inspelen op de individuele behoeften van de zorgvrager. </p>
<p>Lexico Vraagbegrip kan zowel door kinderen als volwassenen gebruikt worden. </p>

<p>In <strong>Lexico Vraagbegrip</strong> wordt er gewerkt met vraagwoordvragen. Deze vragen worden aangeboden met een bijhorende foto, tekst of een luidsprekersymbool</p>
<p>Het is de bedoeling dat u de kaart met de foto, tekst of luidsprekersymbool sleept naar de bijhorende kaart in het antwoordveld. Er wordt steeds een nieuwe kaart aangeboden totdat alle paren gevonden zijn. In de instellingen kan u kiezen welke modaliteit u wilt gebruiken. Als u de correcte bijhorende kaart gevonden heeft, wordt het antwoord nogmaals in een zin aangeboden. </p>
<p>Lexico Vraagbegrip maakt het mogelijk om op een natuurlijke manier vraagwoordvragen te leren begrijpen en correcte antwoordzinnen te maken.
Bovendien kan het geluid uitgeschakeld worden. Dit maakt het mogelijk om ook de leesvaardigheid te trainen. Zo kan de app voldoen aan de individuele behoeften van elke gebruiker.

<p>De app kan ingezet worden op volgende gebieden:</p>

<li>Bij <strong>lexicaal-semantische </strong> problemen kan de app de logopedische therapie ondersteunen. De zorgvrager kan de prenten benoemen, herhalen en matchen met de bijhorende foto. Bovendien kan men werken op woord- en zinsniveau en op receptieve en expressieve taal. Als men werkt met tekst in plaats van foto's kan men het leesbegrip oefenen. </li>
<li>In de <strong>morfosyntactische </strong> therapie kan de zorgvrager een gepaste antwoordzin formuleren op de vraagwoordvragen. Bijvoorbeeld: 'Wie eet de banaan?' De aap eet de banaan. Hiervoor kan het geluid van de app uitgeschakeld worden.</li>
<li>Ook in de <strong>fonologische </strong> therapie kan de app gebruikt worden om de foto's te benoemen, om de woorden en zinnen te herhalen of om luidop te lezen. </li>
