This is actually a quite frequent problem and it is really easy to fix.
Just go to the Queries panel, find the transactions you want to change the date of, right-click on the list and select the 'Transfer to...' menu (or select 'Transaction ▸ Transfer to...' from the main menu).
You will get a 'Transfer' window. In that window, you can change the date of the selected transactions:
Note that you can also do exactly the same from the Transactions panel or even from the Accounts panel.
