Hyperlinks not working in body of emails

i'm slightly hysterical now
i managed to install mlm and the daylight plugin

and now NONE of the hyperlinks work AT ALL
they show up as underlined and blue in Preview but do not work and are not hyperlinked in the received email

installing mlm meant i replaced files on the server - did i delete something inadvertently?
i'm sooooo sorry

No, I don't think so. Try to log into your MLM install with your browser, then try to create a list and add a recipient to that list, any error doing that?

So - it wasn't easy to sign in. I had to reset the permissions to 755 in order to do so - they had defaulted with the reinstall/'replace all' to 777 and I couldn't sign in at all - got a 404 not found error - checked the error log

[20-Jul-2012 09:52:25] PHP Warning: Missing argument 1 for cpanel_Login(), called in /home/mcastro/public_html/lm/lm.php on line 1298 and defined in /home/mcastro/public_html/lm/lm_admin.php on line 7

Once I was in I could create a new list and add a recipient or add a recipient to a current list
However, I haven't been using MLM in my browser at all so there are only a couple of lists there - I have lots of lists in Maxbulk Mailer itself and NOW when I try to access any of them I get 103 errors

AND ... my stats aren't working at all now :-(

What have I messed up? OR ... have I been using MLM incorrectly and now the chickens are coming home to roost?
More help please .... :-(

Your MLM URL is wrong. A URL starts with 'http://' followed by the domain information, and the path of the lm.php file.

i got in touch with HostGator (online middle of the night chat) and they helped resolve the mlm problems which put me back exactly to square one - with the Facebook links getting a 404 forbidden message
he said it wasn't HostGator's fault and suggested i ask 'you' about any limitations in the software
i exited the chat and did some deep breathing
i knew he was wrong and so i went back to this forum and found this topic (same problem as mine) … viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5444
i got back in touch with HostGator and copied the last entry (with the solution)
it took me quite a while to describe the problem to a new tech support person and get him to help …
he had to 'whitelist' Facebook …
altogether this all only took me 2 hours
he said that if ever this happens again to just give them the url and they will check the mod-sec error

if ever this happens with another customer of yours all you have to do is copy the above sentence
