How to speed up large mail outs? SO SLOW!

I have a list of around 500 emails and it's taken about 2 hours to send 100 with it getting progressively slower and even the whole program slowing down.

I've just called the people who handle our server and they said that our server is fine so it's not that.

What settings should it be set to where it says 'connections' and also 'group mails' to optimise the program to mass mail outs? Also there is definitely something wrong with the program itself as even moving between windows in the program after I've stopped the mail out is incredibly slow.

Hum, it means there was a problem, the problem was fixed and then you will see the fix in next version.
