Apparent virus contamination of maxbulk mailer

I'm using Bitdefender Total Security 2018. It won't let me install MaxBulk Mailer, saying the file is contaminated with a virus. The message is:-

The file C:\Program Files (x86)\MaxBulk Mailer\is-T90A4.tmp is infected with Gen:Variant.Ursu.14496.The virus has been successfully blocked and your PC is now safe.

Only one more word - HELP!

MaxBulk Mailer is built on a Mac so It can't contain a PC virus. I guess either it is a false positive or your PC was already contaminated. Also note that MaxBulk Mailer was released on May 2017, I guess I would have received at least one other alert. I have checked the file here and I don't see any problem.

Thank you for your message. I checked my PC with MALWAREbytes that claimed to have found and isolated a small number of viruses. I subsequently ran the maxbulk mailer installation program again, but got the same result.
Short of uninstalling Bitdefender, I'm not sure what to do. If anyone can help - it would be appreciated. The maxbulk mailer is a great little program.
