Alternative to port 25?

Hi, I know it says that you have to have access to port 25. And yes, I know why, bu, I have access to my smtp server using port 587, is there any way to tell email verifier to use that port instead?
using email verifier 3.0.2 on Mac OSX 10.4.8

It is not possible as you would have to tell all SMTP servers worldwide to use port 587 as well.

Is there any way to use the software's you provide without changing isp? Maybe something like a email forwarder? I use rogers internet in Toronto and from what I have read they have port 25 blocked.

Right now there is no solution. I have tried to implement a proxy interface unsuccessfully so far :-/ Have you tried to ask your provider to remove the port 25 blocking?
