Oh I see now.
If I list 10 SMTP accounts, but only 3 connections, it only uses the first 3 SMTP accounts in the entire send.
Rotation is really needed. But I see this feature was on the todo list back in 2013 so I guess I shouldn't be holding my breath.
Time to look at other products. Can't...
For example, if I have 10 accounts listed, and set connections to 10 ?
Does that do what I want i.e. produce 1 connection per account ?
My goal is to send very mails per account in any given time period. Say 10 emails a minute from one account.
But then get some volume by using 10 accounts...
I am interested in using burst mode because I have 10 eSMTP accounts but not entirely sure how burst mode works.
For instance, does it rotate round the accounts in the list ?
thx
oh this is really weird .... link from today looks the same but I am actually getting the opening tracking through no problem. So the HTML I have shown above is valid??
But 2nd email of day ..... opening tracking just dies again, nothing at all. So I guess that is what is going wrong. First...
And I am getting this again today ... how do I reset this so I can get a proper opening tracking link? The links I am getting are malformed and serve no purpose. I have tried exiting MaxBulk and restarting but the links are still like that.
I did a small campaign and nothing was coming up in the stats. so i looked at the HTML code for the opening tracking, and it was this:
<img src=3D"http://XXX.XXX.com/lm/lm.php?tk=3DUG9zdG1hc3RlcgkJCWRhcmluY=
mVha2VyQHByb3Rvbm1haWwuY29tCUF0dGVtcHRpbmcgdG8gZ2V0IGluIHRvdWNoIGNhcmVlcmxh=...
is it possible to have opening tracking but turn click tracking off ?
what is it exactly that turns the opening tracking on? i.e. inserts the remote image used for open tracking?
Because as far as I can see, the image is only inserted when the click-through tracking box is ticked. Is that...
I think I have worked out when the error occurs.
Its when I am using the MLM web interface to delete lists etc
THEN I go into MaxBulk and select "Remote Lists" - it produces the 403 error
If I don't have the web interface running concurrently everything is fine.
Update: I just went back into MaxBulk and selected "Remote Lists" and it actually worked properly :) I have changed nothing in DB setup in the last two weeks.
So no idea what has been wrong for the last two weeks, but most likely there is a bug in MaxBulk which stops remote lists from being...
Can you at least give me an idea how you are trying to access the DB from inside maxbulk?
The puzzling thing is the DB is perfectly accessible from your 'diagnosis' and 'get info' pages from within MaxBulk, and also perfectly accessible from within the web browser.
Doesn't that suggest to you...
It must be a permission thing right?
Here is what diagnose shows my permissions as:
mailqueue permissions = 0755
sqlqueue permissions = 0755
uploads permissions = 0777
imports permissions = 0755
templates permissions = 0755
Is there something in there which means the dB is accessible from...
I have mlm set up fine. I've got lists set up, can access them via lm.php, run commands in browser, can do 'diagnose' and 'get info' fine, so everything working well and looking good ... until I choose "remote lists" from "Recipients"
and I just get this
Error #403: Forbidden...
OK thanks I have it working now.
Just a quick follow up. I see that @gmail.com is not in the rule list. Is there any reason for this? I mean is it possible to actually validate gmail email addresses individually ?
