I would like to post a journal entry that has ten different accounts (non of which is a cash account) and can't find instructions for posting anything longer than one debit and one credit. Please advise!

I don't understand your request. Are you talking about a report?

Not a report - a transaction. I have a transaction that includes many debits and credits but I don't see how to record a transactions with more than one debited account and one credited account.

Have you tried to enter a split?

First I've heard of a split. Is there a detailed resource somewhere of how to use icash? What I've found on the maxprog web site is not very detailed.
I found the transaction split menu but split is not highlighted so I cannot click on it?

Go to the transaction panel and the 'Split' option will be enabled. Another solution is to enter the transactions and group them. It is the same but in the opposite order.

I went to the transaction panel and the Split was still not enabled. Where can I find a good source of instructions on the use of cash?

I believe I am the best source since I created that software. You can also read the online manual available from the support page. About splits I forgot to say you have to select the transaction you want to split.

Thank goodness I found you. I've found a more serious problem and have been searching the internet to find a specialist to help. Here's the deal: when I couldn't find a way to post journal entries I decided to take each month from icash and put it in quickbooks so I could manipulate the data. I was fine for January through April, but when I put in May suddenly I was out of balance by AED 250,000 (more or less).
In other words, when I posted the changes in the balance sheet between Apr 30 and May 31 (excelling retained earning) as well as the loss for the month (representing the change in retained earning) my balance sheet was out of balance.
Please! Please can you help me?
Anne

I don't have enough info. Note that iCash simply sum the transactions you enter, it is simple. You can ask iCash to recalculate everything from the 'File > Tools > Check Data' menu.
